Unlocking the iPhone can be unlocked and by two main methods:
- Downgrading the firmware
- Using a Turbo Sim
The phone firmware can be downgraded and then replaced with hacked firmware, or a turbo sim device can be used. This is put in place between the sim card and the phone modifiying the signals that are passed throught. This fools the phone into thinkin a valid sim card is in place. This is by far the best method of unlocking the phone because the phone doesn't need modifying so the warranty still remains valid.
